There was indeed a rumor few months ago saying that the manga adaptation would be animated, now we have an official confirmation. That's another LN in hiatus for years that's finally getting an anime, i hope it will lead to a 5th volume of LN .

Is this another revenge story just with a female protagonist?

The revenge part doesn't have much importance ( it ends very fast ) , it's more a mystery adventurer series with subtle Yuri and quite gory, can't say that there aren't stereotype but they didn't bother me as it has a good writting.

That sounds intriguing. Thanks! This will come to my hit list for checking out.

Some days ago I started reading a manga where an alchemist gets fired from his group because he only was able to create adult toys. It was revealed that this power would later not only save the world but started the *** wars. The name of the alchemist? Oragu Zum.

The story is nice and quite unusual take on "banished from hero party" stories. It has your vregular odd RPG mechanics in the setting but the setting itself is really dark. Plus the MC despite having a typical unique skill is not OP and often has to work a lot to win the fights.
We will probably have a 1-cour adaptation of the first 1 or 2 LN volumes (2 or 3 story arcs), so I do not have that much hope for the anime. But I do hope it is a sign we are getting LN5 at last.
Oh, and I hope Ai Fairuz will still voice Flum.

I've been waiting for this one for a while. But is it me, or somewhat darker yuri is getting more attention as of late?

i would even say Yuri and Shoujo-Ai as a whole, i feel since 2022 or so, it's really a big change from before when barely Shoujo-Ai CGDCT were the great majority of GL we would have in anime with an exeptionnal real Yuri once in a blue moon. My dream of seeing ShuuKura in anime and Adachi to Shimamura S2 might be close.

One can dream, right? But yes, Yuri has now become a viable economic force in the anime world. Sure, not as viable as harem or isekai, but viable.
Kinda wish the BL fandom had the same luck.

If you like The Executioner and Her Way of Life and body horror, you’re going to like this one a lot.
