The wait for it is not surprising since it clearly wasn't planned to have a sequal due to it's low production budget.

An Anime usually takes 4 years backlog from the ground up to be fully made and since this premiered back in 22 i predicted it would probably come out this year. It just proved way more popular than it was intended due to how funny and meme worth it is.

Hopefully with higher animation budget.

My guess probably in the Fall. Looking forward to it.

About dang time, here I was thinking it got quietly canceled.

Also, for all the staff that's returning from season 1, the visuals look like they got a major overhaul design-wise.

I remember I've read the novel (fan translated before SevenSeas takeover) at the later arc of the Commonwealth then i did drop it since i got confused on some names and terms used.

Finally got to see it animated. Especially the sequel's fmc

That key usual is weird , it makes me think that they are adapting anoseka instead, as it focuses on leo and Marie.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting.
I feel like these days it's pretty rare to see the same character designer totally redo their designs between seasons, because more often than not productions prioritize consistency. Whenever the visuals of a show do change it's usually because the staff itself has changed.

In contrast, I actually kinda like how things went in this case.
If for whatever reason it's decided that a show should take a different visual approach for a sequel, it's not always necessary to actually change the staff itself to accomplish that. These are talented people who have plenty of room to be flexible and adjust their work as needed. I think this is a good reminder of that.

Dear lord, those new character designs look so much worse than the original ones. What was the artist thinking?

CG staff has me worried a bit, one thing that made season one stand out was it's use of 2D mechs design and animations

What do you mean sequels fmc? This is second season so they should just be continuing from where they left off.

Surprised it took this long, people really enjoyed the story and how all the main characters interacted with each other.

Great news. Season 2 should be worth the wait! Curious how they’ll expand the story in season 2 and develop the characters further. It’s funny how some of the interactions almost feel like a twist on casual dating, just in a much more chaotic and game-like world.
