Vita topping the sales charts again. Seems like its finally gaining some Steam in Japan... took long enough.

It just isn't made for the market. What games on XBox 360 really appeal to the Japanese that they can't get elsewhere? Nationality and brand loyalty are strong there.

Japanese just aren't interested in the Western AAA shooters and such, and thats mainly what the 360 is about. Most people who own 360 are just otaku since its where most of the visual novel ports go, and it used to have Idolmaster exclusively

The 360's top selling games are shooters, which Japan isn't really interested in. So of course it's not going to do well there. The top selling games in Japan are platformers and RPGs.

Technically the 3DS still took it over if you combine the model sales... It's nice to think of the Vita selling the individual models, though.

idolmaster helps sell the few xbox.
