He said "the lord is my helper," and I don't know how accurate that is of a translation, but I still feel like it should totally have been "the lord is my Shepard."

This show is a great fit for Toonami, and I'm so glad it's on so more people can see it.

I am officially shounen'd out. Current hotness like Blue Exorcist, Magi, Attack on Titan; I've seen nothing that makes them stand out or look unique. It's all a matter of timing, honestly. If Blue Exorcist was the first anime I'd ever seen, I'd probably go bananas. I'm animexhausted.

Probably you just need a breather! Go look for other demographics or/and other genres!

As recommendation I have:
- Silver Spoon (Shonen Slice of Life)
- Space Brothers (Seinen Slice of Life)
- GTO (Shonen Comedy and Slice of Life)
- Detective Conan (Shonen Mistery and Detective)
- Slam Dunk (Shonen Sport)
- Haikyuu (Shonen Sport) -> Next to next season
- Watamote (Shonen Black Humor)
- Pupa (Shonen Horror) -> Next season
- Kingdom (Seinen Action)
(Well I don't see really that many anime, but if you want manga recommendation I have more)

I don't know what the correct translation is either, but on an issue like this I think the translation error may more likely be on the Japanese side, in that they used the incorrect Western term. Stuff like that is quite common in anime.

Unfortunately its way too late. Aniplex should have done this while they were releasing the sub only DVDs.

Toonami hadn't returned yet when Aniplex was still releasing the sub-only DVDs. Even if it had been around at the time, Williams Street would never allow a sub-only program to be aired. Ratings disasters and such.

I wouldn't get so hung-up about it. When it comes to Psalms, "correct translation" is as much dogmatic as linguistic.

No. i mean they should have done it like what bandai did with guren lagann. while they ( Aniplex ) release the sub only version on DVD , they could have released an english dub on AS.
