Gainax Offers His & Her Panty & Stocking Underwear

Gainax announced on Tuesday that it is collaborating with the underwear maker Gunze's Body Wild brand to release male and female underwear based on the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt television anime series. The underpants will debut at Gunze Body Wild's "Panpaku 2010" underpants exhibition this Saturday at the Body Wild Underwave store in Tokyo's Harajuku district. (The exhibition will run until November 28.) The Panty & Stocking underpants come in two varieties: men's low-rise boxers, and ladies' short underpants with short camisole.
In addition, the animation director Sushio (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Gurren Lagann, Mahoromatic - Automatic Maiden) will conduct a live painting session at the Body Wild Underwave store in Harajuku on November 6. Manga creator Katsuki Tanaka is also one of the 10 artists from around the world who are contributing to the "Panpaku 2010" event.
