Evangelion Energy Drinks with 12 Character Labels Offered

To celebrate Hideaki Anno and Khara's four-part remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series, the Bandai company will release the Evangelion Katsudou Zenkai Drink (Evangelion Activity Full Throttle Drink) on December 14 with twelve Evangelion character labels. The drinks will also feature twelve bottle cap designs, creating 144 possible combinations.
The energy drink labels picture the characters Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley Shikinami, Mari Makinami Illustrious, Misato Katsuragi, and Kaworu Nagisa, while the bottle caps depict Angels, Eva units, and other well-known Evangelion images.
Key ingredients in the drinks are coenzyme Q10, B vitamins, and amino acids. Each 100-milliliter drink will cost 210 yen (about US$2.70) and be available in convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, and other stores throughout Japan.
Evangelion Shin Gekijō-ban Q Quickening, the third part in the four-film Rebuild of Evangelion series, will open in Japan in Fall of 2012.
