Muscian Daigo to Star in Ultraman Saga Film Next March

Producers of the Ultraman Saga film are announcing on Friday that DAIGO, musician for the band BREAKERZ, will perform the starring role. DAIGO (pictured left) will play Nozomu Taiga, a young man who transforms into the hero Ultraman Zero.
Takeshi Tsuruno (pictured center) will play Shin Asuka, a young man who transforms in to Ultraman Dyna, and Taiyō Sugiura (pictured right) will act as Musashi Haruno, the character who transforms into Ultraman Cosmos.
Ultraman Saga's story takes place when a mysterious alien invades the Earth. Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Dyna, and Ultraman Cosmos come from outer space and join forces with humankind to restore the peace.
Commemorating the 45th anniversary of the live-action Ultraman franchise, Tsuburaya Productions' Ultraman Saga will open in theaters across Japan on March 24 of next year. The film is a sequel to the 2010 film Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial and will screen in both 2D and strereoscopic 3D formats.
