Muv-Luv PS3 Port's TV Ad Streamed

Port of original visual novel from Age, 5pb. to ship in Japan on October 25

A television commercial for the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of Age and 5pb.'s original Muv-Luv visual novel began airing this week.

The PS3 port will be released on October 25. The limited-edition version will retail for 8,190 yen (about US$102) and the standard edition will retail for 6,090 yen (about US$76).

Muv-Luv creator Kouki Yoshimune had revealed plans for a Windows 7-compatible version of the original Muv-Luv visual novel in May. Yoshimune had also revealed plans for a port of the Muv-Luv Alternative visual novel, which will also be released on the PlayStation 3 on October 25.

Additionally, the Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse television anime series will receive a video game adaptation on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The adventure game from 5pb. is slated for a release this winter.
