"TV show action" ships for PSP on September 20; Goods promotion ends on August 20

Bandai began streaming the first promotional video for the Tiger & Bunny On Air Jack! game on Friday. The "TV show action" game will ship for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on September 20, two days before Tiger & Bunny the Movie: The Beginning opens in theaters.

The game will follow the storyline of the television series, and it will also include fully-voiced event cut-scenes based on the original animation footage. The player will control the lead character Wild Tiger as he battles threats in various cases to become the No.1 "King of Heroes."

The action game will retail at 6,280 yen (about US$79). The limited first edition of the game will tentatively include a product code for a custom PSP theme, an exclusive sticker set, and a serial code for a limited card in the social game. Pre-ordered copies will also come with a bonus poster.

Bandai also posted a promotional video for the "Wild ni Ateru ze!! Campaign" present promotion on Friday. People who spend at least 5,000 yen (about US$63) on promotional merchandise from the company's Tamashii Nations brand are eligible to win one of 30,000 prizes. People will receive one entry for every five points worth of promotional tickets they submit. Prizes include 3,000 S.H. Figuarts Wild Tiger (face open ver.) figures, 3,000 Figuarts Zero Doc Saito figures, 300 Kotetsu and Barnaby voice alarm clocks, and 23,700 Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr. rubber mobile phone straps. The campaign is running until August 20.

On June 26, Bandai began streaming the third promotional video for its line of Tiger & Bunny super-deformed figures. The Barnaby figure will ship in Japan on July 28.
