The full singer lineup for the television broadcast of the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 anime series/film project was revealed on Sunday. The series premiered on television in Japan that same day with the classic "Uchū Senkan Yamato" theme by this "dream team" known as Project Yamato 2199:

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the CD for the theme song's new version will be donated to the areas affected by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
The fifth installment in the film series, which is composed of episodes 15-18, will premiere in 12 theaters in Japan on Saturday, and then will ship on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on May 28.
