Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP Video Highlights Blanc

Compile Heart began streaming an 94-second promotional movie to profile the character Blanc/White Heart (voiced by Kana Asumi) in its upcoming PS Vita game Kami Jigen Idol Neptune PP (Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP) on Thursday.

As in the previous Neptunia games, the story is set in the video-game homage world of Gameindustri, where the goddesses have maintained the peace. However, in the 21st century, the world has been shaken to its core by the idol boom, and the goddesses like Blanc lose their share of followers. Blanc asks for your help and vows she will not to lose as an idol.

The video shows Blanc performing to the song "Dear... every day" (idol dance ver.), complete with her transformation as White Heart. In the game itself, the player can produce Blanc's career by training her, outlining her daily schedule, interacting with other characters in conversations, and arranging her live concerts (from set lists to dance moves and camera work). The more successful Blanc gets, the more share she gain as Gameindustri's #1 idol. In the viewer mode, players can "touch" Blanc and the other characters via the PS Vita screen to get them to perform different actions with voices.

The regular edition will retail for 6,279 yen (about US$63) on June 20, while the limited edition will go for 8,379 yen (US$84) and the download version for 5,300 yen (US$53). The limited edition comes with Hyperdimension Neptunia ~Goddess Communication~ Nep PP Edition, a situation drama CD, and an exclusive mobile phone stand. People who preorder the game will receive a Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia skin seal for the PS Vita and an accompanying animated wallpaper.
