Anime music supergroup's Yamato 2199 ending theme to debut in June

Lantis began streaming JAM Project's "Maximizer" and "Wings of the legend" music videos on Thursday.

The anime music supergroup first released "Maximizer" on the Maximizer 〜Decade of Evolution〜 album in June 2010. "Wings of the legend" was released as the group's 37th single CD this past December.

JAM Project consists of veteran anime theme musicians such as Ichiro Mizuki, Hironobu Kageyama, Rica Matsumoto, Eizo Sakamoto, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masaaki Endou, Masami Okui, and Yoshiki Fukuyama. The supergroup has performed songs for eX-Driver, Gravion, MazinKaiser, New Getter Robo, Robonimal Panda-Z: The Robonimation, Scrapped Princess, The SoulTaker, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX, and their most famous collaboration, the anime-based Super Robot Wars game franchise. The group performed a South American tour last July, and Otakon again hosted the group as part of a 20th anniversary music festival in November.

JAM Project contributed the ending theme song "R.I.P. - Tomo yo Shizuka ni Nemure" for the sixth installment of the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 anime series/film project, which will open in 16 theaters in Japan on June 15.
