Rubber mat, tote bag, cushion, book cover offered

The "Bandai Fashion Net" division of Bandai's official online store, Premium Bandai, is now accepting preorders for merchandise based on the upcoming anohana theatrical film, scheduled to open in Japan on August 31.

anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day is an 11-episode television anime series that aired in 2011. The series tells the story of former friends forced to deal with the childhood death of one of their group when she appears as a ghost years later. The emotionally charged story has built a fanbase among fans of both genders and all ages.

The upcoming merchandise features artwork depicting the silhouettes of the "Chō Heiwa Busters," the former friends' name for their group, and includes a tote bag (2,625 yen or US$27), cushion (3,000 yen or US$31), book cover (1,500 yen or US$15), and rubber mat (3,000 yen or US$31).

Quantities are limited, and preorders will end when supplies are exhausted. Orders will ship in late August.
