Killer is Dead's English Launch Trailer Streamed

XSEED Games began streaming the English launch trailer on Tuesday for Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game Killer Is Dead. XSEED games shipped the game in North America on Tuesday.
XSEED's launch release of the game includes an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD, and the "Smooth Operator" DLC pack.
The game stars Mondo, an "executioner" whose job it is to kill various heinous criminals. Executive director Suda51 stated the game will be full of the "condensed essence" of his previous "assassin games" such as killer7 and No More Heroes. He also noted that the game will feature sword fighting action just as No More Heroes does, and that it will be a "brilliant" game that goes in a different direction from the "pop and cute" Lollipop Chainsaw.
The game debuted in Japan on August 1.
