Latte Artist at Belcorno Shows Off Amazing Anime Art
posted on by Ederlyn Peralta
Baristas have long dazzled latte lovers with elegant swirls and other foamy designs, but a few aspiring latte artists have set their sights a little higher. Thanks to some anime-inspired espresso love, coffee aficionados and anime fans can now get the best of both worlds.
At BELCORNO, an Italian pizzeria in Ichinomiya, talented latte artist Bel creates spectacular anime art in cappuccinos and lattes.
For those unfamiliar with the art form, latte art is created by making a design or pattern on the surface of a latte or cappuccino. Unlike many other latte artists, Bel's latte art is colorful and three-dimensional. Here are some examples of his latte art:
Kiki and Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service
Yachiru Kusajishi from Bleach
Ren Jinguji from Uta no Prince Sama
Haruka Nanase and Makoto Tachibana from Free!
If you are interested in seeing more of Bel's art, check out BELCORNO's Twitter page. Or, if you happen to be in Japan and want to personally enjoy an anime-inspired beverage, visit BELCORNO which is located in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture.
BELCORNO isn't the only place with artistically inspired baristas. Check out the artist Kazuki Yamamoto, who is making a name for himself in the world of latte art. Or if you have personal aspirations for creating latte art, check out these Youtube videos by the talented Nowtoo Sugi.
