Noitamina Anime Block Holds 'Best Theme Song' Poll

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Fuji TV's Noitamina anime block is holding a poll until December 31 to let fans choose the best theme songs from the block's 10 year history. Participants can choose up to 10 songs from the list.

Noitamina launched the poll as part of its upcoming multi-album "Noitamina FAN BEST" collection. The four-disc set includes two music CDs with 30 full-length songs, a third music CD with TV cut song versions, and a Blu-ray with creditless opening and ending anime sequences. The set goes on sale on April 15, 2015 for 3,700 yen (about US$31).

Fuji TV launched the Thursday night Noitamina block in 2005 with the anime adaptation of Honey and Clover and later Paradise Kiss. Since it premiered, the block expanded into a full hour slot and has produced the likes of Nodame Cantabile, Eden of the East, Princess Jellyfish, Wandering Son, anohana, Psycho-Pass, Terror in Resonance, and Your Lie in April. The block is currently producing the upcoming Psycho-Pass film, a series of films based on Project Itoh's novels, and a series of original television series.
