iPhone 6 Game Boy Accessory April Fool's Joke is Coming True

Video gaming accessory company Hyperkin announced that its April Fool's "SmartBoy" iPhone 6 Plus accessory is really in development.
Initial designs show that users can insert their iPhone into the SmartBoy and use its screen to play classic Game Boy game cartridges. If you don't own an iPhone, no need to fret. Hyperkin is also testing with Android and Windows phones, too.
The device will also update the classic handheld game device with an eight-direction D-pad, built-in battery, and graphic upscaling. Hyperkin is planning to release the device in the classic grey color scheme, but might add more colors later.
Gamers! are hypothesizing that, despite the deep nostalgia stirred by the device, whether legal red-tape with Nintendo and Apple will let it get off the ground. Nintendo already offers its own Virtual Console and eShop with classic titles for its latest consoles and handhelds.
