Yuri!!! on Ice's Poodle Makkachin Gets Life-Size Plush

In Yuri!!! on Ice, Victor has a standard poodle named Makkachin, and Yūri had a toy poodle with a similar appearance whom he named after Victor. Vicchan sadly dies a short time before the events in the anime. Although they never meet in the anime, Yūri and Victor's beloved pet dogs finally get a chance to meet in the real world. Avex Pictures' merchandise brand as'mono is releasing plush recreations of both dogs.
At about 100 centimeters (about 3 feet) long, the Makkachin toy is an approximately life-size plush that can sprawl out on a fan's bed or floor. The huggable stuffed animal costs 26,000 yen (about US$230).
The Vicchan plush is available in two poses: standing and sitting. The plush is about 26 centimeters (10 inches) tall, and both varieties cost 3,800 yen (about US$34) each.
Both plushes are available for pre-order online through various retailers now. The Makkachin plush will only be available online, but the Vicchan plus will also be available at brick-and-mortar retail shops. The plushes are slated to ship in early March.
Makkachin has already appeared on a variety of merchandise, including tissue cases inspired be a tissue case in the anime.
