Retro Sega Controllers Come Back with Bluetooth Compatibility
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Retro-Bit game accessory maker and the minds behind the now stalled all-in-one Game Boy console partnered with Sega to re-release the company's classic console controllers, but this time with Bluetooth compatibility.

Retro-Bit's Sega Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast controllers debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) event in Las Vegas on January 9-12. There isn't a release date set or a price point yet but fans of Sega Games will want to keep an eye out. These controllers are compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android systems and can even be paired with older consoles using a separate dongle. A separate Bluetooth receiver will allow players to pair the controllers with the original Sega Genesis, Sega Mega Drive, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast consoles.

If Bluetooth isn't your thing, separate USB versions were also on display.
