F/GO's Mash Kyrielight Inspires US$420 Watch

High-end watches, both the classic pocket watch type and wristwatch type have dedicated collectors. Watch designers like Romaine Jerome have released timepieces specifically to appeal to gaming and anime communities, like his US$258,000 Pokémon watch. By comparison, this Fate/Grand Order watch is a steal at only US$420, but that's still not a price to scoff at.

The mobile game's first and so far only Shielder-class servant Mash Kyrielight is the muse for Seiko's wristwatch. The character's black and purple trimmed armor is recreated for this nearly all-black watch with a purple ring around its face. The band has a metallic finish. The servant's name is engraved along the side of the watch face and her shield symbol is engraved on the back.

The watch costs 45,000 yen (US$420) alone or 48,000 yen (US$452) with an included stand. Pre-orders will open on Aniplex's mail-order site Aniplex+ on March 24 until May 31 with orders scheduled to ship in September.

The watch is the second Fate/GO collaboration with Seiko. The company also produced a Saber watch, but is no longer available.
