Studio Troyca Will Animate IDOLiSH 7 Group Re:vale's Music Video

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Bandai Namco Entertainment's popular Idolish 7 idol mobile game and multimedia franchise will soon premiere four new animated music videos for its idol groups Idolish 7, Trigger, Re:vale, and ŹOOĻ. Studio ufotable is handling the ŹOOĻ video and the game's staff announced on Wednesday that TROYCA will animate Re:vale's music video.

TROYCA is the animation studio behind the Idolish 7 anime series. The studio also animated Aldnoah.Zero and Re:CREATORS.

The Idolish 7 franchise's official account also stated that the music video would be for Re:vale's new track for the latest game chapter. The Re:vale duo's newest songs include "Hoshikuzu Magic" and "Gekijō." "Hoshikuzu Magic" is the theme song for the "Hoshimeguri no Kansokusha" (Star Tour Observer) event within the game.

The Re:vale duo is made up of characters Momo (Souichiro Hoshi) and Yuki (Shinnosuke Tachibana). The pair released their first full album Re:al Axis on December 5. The first volume of the Idolish 7 Re:member by manga looking back on Momo and Yuki's history was released the same day. The manga is by original character designer Arina Tanemura and based on the novel by the game's main scenario writer Bunta Tsushimi. Both the novel and the manga were released on the same day.

Animate stores are giving away photo cards of Momo and Yuku to shoppers who pick up the book while supplies last.

Idolish 7 staff have previously worked with Kamikaze Douga, BONES, MAPPA, NAZ, and Production I.G to create its animated music videos.

The second season of the Idolish 7 television anime by anime studio TROYCA is in the works. The first season premiered in January and the spin-off net anime IDOLiSH7 Vibrato streamed beginning in February.
