Voice Actor Natsuki Hanae Hosts New Manga-Themed Variety Program

BS NTV's new variety program Anoko wa Manga o Yomanai (That Kid Doesn't Read Manga) starring voice actor Natsuki Hanae, TV announcer Misato Ugaki, and comedian Yuki Iwai will premiere on August 30 at 11:00 p.m. Despite the shows title, all three hosts are manga enthusiasts and will interview guests including manga editors.
The first program will feature Bakemonogatar manga artist Oh! great and writer Otaro Maijo. The creative team will discuss their manga Biorg Trinity and the boys-love manga genre.
Oh! great is known for creating the series Air Gear, Junk Story - Tetsukuzu Monogatari, and Tenjho Tenge, which all inspired anime. He has also worked on the story and art for numerous manga such as Burn Up!, Five, Himiko-Den, Majin -Devil-, Naked Star, and Silky Whip.
The episode on August 30 will serve as a series special. It will air as a regular program on BS NTV starting in January 2020.
