Pioneer LDC to be sold to Dentsu

In a business move likely worth billions of yen, Nikkei Net has suggested that Pioneer in Japan will sell production/sale subsidiary Pioneer LDC to Dentsu, part of a shift in focus as Pioneer begins to concentrate on A/V hardware. While too soon to gauge the the direct impact on the anime industry, the deal is likely to affect the future of Pioneer's Ronbo Robe anime label.
