Pokemon Episode Delayed Due to Earthquake Depiction

Sensitivity in light of Wednesday's earthquake causes network to pull episode

TV Tokyo has announced that the broadcast of an episode of Pokémon Advance Generation has been delayed indefinitely. Originally scheduled to be aired on November 4th, the episode featured an monster rampaging underground and causing earthquakes above ground.

Northern Japan sufferred a 6.1 magnitude earthquake yesterday that has killed at least 31 people and injured 2,500 more. The earthquake was followed by a 4.2 magnitude aftershock 25 minutes later. 100,000 people are currently living in temporary shelters because their homes have been destroyed or are in danger of being destroyed in aftershocks.
