Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation II - Lovers- opened in the fifth spot this past weekend, the first movie, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation - Heirs to the Stars- opened in third spot in late May and broke daily box office records at six Japanese theaters.
After an Impressive eight-week run in the top 10, a success that lead to the announcement of a sequel, NANA has dropped from the Japanese box office top 10.
Spring Snow is based on Yukio Mishima's classic novel series Spring Snow (Haru no Yuki) and is also being adapted into a manga by Riyoko Ikeda.
