Media Play to Shut Down

Media Play has announced that it will close all of its retail stores in January, after the holiday season. The subsidiary of Musicland has failed to turn a profit in several years. Musicland's Sam Goody and Suncoast stores will not be affected. More details are available here and here. Thanks to Advent for this item.
