TOHO Entertainment, the company handling distribution of the Mushi-Shi (Bugmaster) live-action film, announced on Janurary 23rd that they have received 10 offers from companies wanting to distribute the film overseas. The film is directed by Katsuhiro Otomo (better known for Anime films such as Akira) and stars Odagiri Joe.

Mushi-Shi is currently playing at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah under the Bugmaster title. According to reports, the film has been well-received by audiences and many studios at the festival have inquired about distribution rights.
