Clannad Feature Length Anime Announced

Full length film based on popular dating sim video game hits Japanese theatres this summer

Production company Frontier Works announced on Thursday that the dating simulation game Clannad, which has experienced a great deal of success on the PlayStation 2 and PC in Japan, will be made into a full length Anime film.

The original game was released under the "Key" brand, who also developed the popular dating sims Kanon and Air. Dezaki Osamu will direct the film. Character designs will be done by Kadonosono Megumi, who also worked on the series Kiddy Grade.
