Japan's Comic Charge Mag Serializes Hong Kong Artist

posted on by Egan Loo
The latest issue of Comic Charge magazine features the debut of Rondon, a serialized manga written by Kengo Kaji and drawn by Patric Yu. The magazine advertises Yu as a "genius creator from Hong Kong that is drawing a violent action epic" about the clashes between the street people and armed police in a near-future Tokyo. Comic CHARGE is Kadokawa's biweekly magazine that debuted on March 20 and published its fourth issue on May 1. Yu and Shin Angyo Onshi's Korean creators (In-Wan Youn and Kyung-Il Yang) are among the few foreigners to have serialized a comic in a Japanese magazine. Source: Ultimatum. Update: A Flash preview is available.
