Nico Nico Site to Stream Tentai Senshi Sunred Anime

Japan's Nico Nico Douga video-sharing website will begin streaming AIC A.S.T.A's anime adaptation of Makoto Kubota's Tentai Senshi Sunred action parody manga on Saturday morning — just 15 minutes after the anime premieres on broadcast television. In this spoof of classic Japanese anime and live-action special-effects shows, the hero Sunred fights against General Vamp and his shadowy group of minions. Registration in Japanese is required to watch videos on Nico Nico's website, but there are no geographical restrictions on who can watch. The online streaming will begin on October 3 at 25:00 (effectively 1:00 a.m. the next morning).
The website's Nico Nico Anime Channel has already been streaming other anime, such as Penguin Girl Heart, Candy Boy, and Di Gi Charat. Nico Nico is also previewing the entire first episode of the Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka anime series on Wednesday, a day before its Japanese broadcast premiere.
