The 22nd Leeds International Film Festival in the United Kingdom will be screening Masahiro Ando and Bones' Sword of the Stranger samurai anime film this Friday and Saturday. It will then show the first film in the live-action trilogy adaptation of Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys suspense manga two times on Saturday. Toshio Lee's live-action take on Kiminori Wakasugi's Detroit Metal City death metal comedy manga will run on Saturday and Sunday. Detroit Metal City star Ken'ichi Matsuyama also reprises his genius detective "L" role in L change the WorLd, Hideo Nakata's movie spinoff based on Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note supernatural suspense manga, in a Sunday screening.
