It's been a good week for Mecha fans as almost all the big names have made huge announcements.
- No Gundam series in 2009. But they're building a huge statue instead.
- Second Gurren Lagann trailer streamed.
- Another company is buying up rights to make movies based on manga properties.
- Rumiko Takahashi and Mitsuru Adachi collaborate on One-Shot Manga to celebrate 50th Anniversary of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.
- Shin Mazinger Zero promised to be New Mazinger Legend according to the Mazinger Z studio.
