News Tales of Vesperia Film, New Jinki Manga Titled. Dated

Production I.G and Bandai Namco Holdings have confirmed the title and release date of their anime film adaptation of Namco's Tales of Vesperia role-playing game for the Xbox 360 console. Kadokawa Pictures will release the Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike film in Japan this year. Kanta Kamei (Digimon: Diaboromon Strikes Back animation director, Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren visual supervisor) will direct, and Kousuke Toriumi (Basilisk, Di Gi Charat, Naruto, To Heart) and Mamoru Miyano (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Death Note) will play the heroes Yuri (pictured at far right) and Flynn (pictured at right), respectively. The original game was released in Japan on August 7 and then in the United States on August 26.
The Comic Toranoana bookstore reports on the title of the new Jinki: Extend manga that will launch in the June issue of Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Age magazine in May. According to the May issue which will ship on April 9, Sirou Tunasima's new manga will be called Jinki: Extend: Relation. This will be the fourth Jinki manga in as many magazines from four different publishers over the past nine years.
