Last Fruits Basket book marks final appearance of manga series on chart

The latest Naruto volume and the final Fruits Basket volume linger on the USA Today newspaper's list of the top 150 bestselling books from July 13 to July 19. At the very end of the list is Fruits Basket volume 23, which marks the final appearance of Natsuki Takaya's popular shōjo manga series on the chart.

Fruits Basket's second-to-last volume entered USA Today's chart back in March and left after two weeks. Fruits Basket currently holds the record for the highest spot ever achieved by a manga volume on the list; sales in April of 2007 put volume 16 in the #15 spot.
