Japanese Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, September 21-27 (Updated)

Yatterman Tenko-Mori Blu-ray, the deluxe version of Takashi Miike's live-action film adaptation of the Yatterman anime, debuted at #1. (SoundScan Japan's methods of surveying home video sales are different from those of the competing firm Oricon, which often lead to differing results between the two.)
Update: According to Oricon and Mainichi Shimbun's Mantan Web section, the Yatterman Tenko-Mori Blu-ray sold 10,061 copies, even though it has now been released on DVD twice. The animeanime.jp and AV Watch websites note that Yatterman is now the top-selling Blu-ray Disc release for a live-action Japanese work, surpassing the second 20th Century Boys film's 7,717 copies. Along with the 46,000 DVD sold, the Yatterman film has sold over 50,000 discs.
