The 2010 Ignatz Award were presented at the Small Press Expo in Maryland this past weekend. Masterpiece Comics by R. Sikoryak (published by Drawn & Quarterly) won the Outstanding Anthology or Collection category over four other nominees, including Red Snow by the late author Susumu Katsumata. The Summit of the Gods Volume 1 by Baku Yumemakura and Jiro Taniguchi was nominated for Outstanding Graphic Novel but lost to Market Day by James Sturm (published by Drawn & Quarterly). It also lost to Ganges by Kevin Huizenga (published by Fantagraphics Books) for Outstanding Series.

Drawn & Quarterly publishes Red Snow in North America, and Fanfare / Ponent Mon publishes The Summit of the Gods.
