Sound of the Sky, New Yu-Gi-Oh Film Released Monday

On Monday, Beez is releasing the series Sound of the Sky (So Ra No To Wo), broadcast in Japan last year. The RRP is £39.99. The anime is set in a war-devastated land which has settled into quiet decline. Kanata Kumika (voiced in Japanese by model and actress Juri Aikawa) is a 15-year-old girl who fulfills her dream of enlisting in the army, joining a unit of five girls who protect a fortress. The girls also play music that reverberate across the skies over towns without people and seas without fish. The director is Mamoru Kanbe (Elfen Lied, I''s Pure).
Manga Entertainment is releasing Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time on DVD (RRP £9.99) and Blu-Ray (RRP £14.99) Originally called Gekijō-ban Yu-Gi-Oh! ~Chō-Yūgō! Jikū o Koeta Kizuna , this crossover film brings together three heroes: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters' Yuugi Mutou, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX's Judai Yuki, and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Yūsei Fudō. The film pits them against a new enemy called Paradox. Both the DVD and BR editions come with a trading card; the BR also has a 3D viewing option, as well as a normal HD edition.
Beez is also releasing the opening volume of The Girl Who Leapt Through Space (not to be confused with the feature film, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). The RRP is £29.99. Animated by Sunrise, the story involves a space colony girl named Akiha Shishidō who encounters a malevolent artificial intelligence. Akiha is joined by an Inter-Colony Police officer, a taciturn young girl and a robot.
Finally, Beez is releasing the third volume of Gundam 00 Season 2 (RRP £34.99).
