Japanese-animated boys' action series will then air on Thursday evenings

The Japanese-animated series Monsuno will premiere on Nicktoons, a spinoff channel of the children's television network Nickelodeon in the United States, on February 23 at 8:00 p.m. EST. After the one-hour premiere, the boys' action series will move to its weekly 8:30 p.m. timeslot on Thursdays.

Aimed at the channel's viewership of young boys ages 6-11, the 52-episode series centers around "re-awakened Monster DNA that finds its way into the unsuspecting hands of adventure-seeking boys." Jakks Pacific, Dentsu Entertainment USA, FremantleMedia Enterprises, and The Topps Company collaborated on the project. Jakks Pacific owns exclusive worldwide rights to manufacture Monsuno's toy products, while Topps is making a collectible card game.
