Anime of Manta Aisora's novels, loosely inspired by Cthulhu mythos, to debut in April

TV Tokyo began streaming a 30-second commercial for the Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos television anime on Monday. The series will adapt Manta Aisora's original comedy light novel series Haiyore! Nyarko-san.

The story centers around Nyarko, a formless Cthulhu deity of chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. Mahiro Yasaka is a normal high school student who is chased by aliens one night, until Nyarko saves him.

Xebec is animating the new Haiyore! Nyarko-san series, and Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Kyo no Gononi, MM!, To Love-Ru) is directing the anime. The cast members from the previous Haiyoru! Nyaruani net anime series and Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft television anime series all are reprising their roles in the new series.

Aisora launched the original comedy light novel series with illustrations by Koin (Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox) in 2009, and Softbank Creative published the eighth volume in October.

Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos will premiere in Japan on April 9, and Crunchyroll will stream the anime outside of Asia.
