TV anime Kujima Utaeba Ie Hororo began airing April 9, 2026. The manga was first serialized in Shogakukan's monthly shonen manga magazine Gessan and has since won the U-NEXT award for the 2022 Next Manga Awards, been ranked first by multiple bookstores for manga recommended by staff in 2023, and been received enthusiastically by professional buyers. The story is a homely comedy that centers around an encounter between first-year middle school student Arata Kouda and Kujima, a strange creature that crossed over to Japan from Russia. This fateful encounter triggers a gradual change within his household.
It has been announced that “Komorebizaka” by Galileo Galilei, the opening theme song, will be released as a single. The titular track was written specifically to serve as the opening theme song for the anime after a heartfelt request by the author Akira Konno. In conclusion, a miraculous song was born from the mutual respect between Galileo Galilei and the author. In addition, the tracklist for the CD single, which includes the anime insert song “Hito wa Wataridori”, has also been revealed.
The CD jacket illustration is an original illustration by the author. It features Kujima standing alone amidst the swaying grass by the water's edge as migrating birds fly across the sky. This one-of-a-kind illustration perfectly captures the beautiful and emotional atmosphere of the music. You don't want to miss out on this rare piece from Galileo Galilei and Akira Konno.
