posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The media distribution site Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will stream the Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san) television anime series worldwide outside of Asia.
Crunchyroll noted that it will stream the first five episodes from the previous Haiyoru! Nyaruani net anime series on March 5 at 3:00 p.m. EST, and it will stream the final four episodes in that series next week. The company will then stream the Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft television anime series starting in two weeks, and it will then stream the Haiyore! Nyaruko-san television anime series when as it airs it premieres in April.
The story of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san centers around Nyaruko, a formless Cthulhu deity of chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. Mahiro Yasaka is a normal high school student who is chased by aliens one night, until Nyaruko saves him.
Aisora launched the light novel series with illustrations by Koin (Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox) in 2009, and SoftBank Creative published the seventh volume this past April. The novels already inspired one video series and one television series of Flash-animated shorts by DLE Inc.
Xebec will animate Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, and Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Kyo no Gononi, MM!, To Love-Ru) will direct the series. The cast members from the previous two series will return in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san.
