KyoAni Streams Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! 'Lite' #4
posted on by Egan Loo
The anime studio Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) began streaming the fourth of six Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! "Lite" episodes on Thursday. The "Niku-jaga Tsukuru yo!" (We'll Make Meat and Potato Stew!) promotional video short is another mini-story that will not air on television.
Unlike the last two "Lite" episodes, this new one is set in the present. Yumeha Togashi (Mami Shitara), the youngest sister of Yūta Togashi (Jun Fukuyama), begs Rikka Takanashi (Maaya Uchida) to teach her cooking. Rikka, a sufferer of chūnibyō (adolescent delusions) who believes she has hidden powers, goes into an elaborate, drawn-out process just gathering the ingredients for meat and potato stew.
Also on Thursday, the anime's website posted the anime's third and final giveaway (for three posters signed by the five main voice cast members) and comments on the third episode by its director Noriyuki Kitanohara, animation director Nobuaki Maruki, and background artist Tomomoto Hiraishi.
The television anime itself premiered earlier this month. Sentai Filmworks acquired the series for digital and home video distribution in North America, and The Anime Network will begin streaming the series today.
