Madman Entertainment's latest acquisition starts streaming online;

Madman Entertainment have added Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! to their online Screening Room and will add a new episode every Thursday at 12pm AEST. You can view episode 1 here and the news announcement here.

Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! (Regardless of My Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur, I Want a Date!) is based on the romantic comedy light novel by Torako and revolves around the concept of 'chūnibyō'. Chūnibyō refers to adolescent thoughts that teenagers commonly have, especially delusions of grandeur or the belief that one is special compared to everyone else. High School Freshman Yūta Togashi was a chūnibyō patient and upon entering high school wishes to bury that embarrassing side of himself. However his classmate Rikka Takanashi, a "current" chūnibyō patient discovers his past as a "Dark Flame Master" and forces Togashi to make a contract with her.

The series is produced by Kyoto Animation and premièred on Tokyo MX on the 4th of October. Tatsuya Ishiara (Air, Clannad, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is responsible for directing the series with Jukki Hanada (Rozen Maiden, Rozen Maiden) editing the scripts. Chief anime director and character designer is Kazumi Ikeda (Clannad, Kanon, K-ON!) with Jun Fukuyama (Grell in Black Butler, Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass) and Maaya Uchida (Hiroyo Hakase and Aoi Ichikawa / Z-Cune Aoi in Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger) providing the voices of Yūta Togashi and Rikka Takanashi respectively.
