'Being Human' Actor Sam Witwer Not Working on Mothra Rewrite (Updated)

Actor Sam Witwer (Being Human, The Mist) revealed in a roundtable discussion with science fiction news website io9 that he is "working on a Mothra rewrite right now." Witwer mentioned this during io9's discussion with writer Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, The Mist, The Green Mile) about Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers' remake of Godzilla.
TOHO released its first film about the moth-inspired monster in 1961.
Update: The website io9 updated its article on Wednesday to say that the Mothra rewrite "was a joke." Thanks, xXInfinite026Xx
