1st look at adaptation of Natsumi Eguchi's dark comedy to premiere at both cons this weekend

The first promotional video for the anime adaptation of Natsumi Eguchi's Hozuki no Reitetsu supernatural comedy manga will premiere at both Japan Expo in Paris and Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Both conventions are being held from July 4-7. The video will also be available online on the anime's official website on July 6 at midnight in Japan.

The dark comedy revolves around the fierce god aide to the Great King Yama, Hōzuki. Calm and super-sadistic, he tries to resolve problems that often occur in Hell.

Eguchi began the manga in Kodansha's Morning magazine in 2011, and Kodansha will publish the 10th compiled volume of the manga on August 23. The manga was nominated for the fifth Manga Taisho Award last year, and was also chosen as a jury selection at the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards last year.
