Trailer serves as walkthrough of game's basic mechanics

NIS America began streaming a second English trailer for The Guided Fate Paradox strategy role-playing game on Monday. The second trailer serves as a walkthrough of the game's basic mechanics, like fixing fates of characters and dungeon crawling.

The company announced its plans for an English release of the PlayStation 3 roguelike RPG this past February. The story centers on seven angels and a typical high school student named Renya who suddenly becomes a god. He grows into an adult while working with the angels to grant wishes and guide people's fate.

NIS produced The Guided Fate Paradox "destiny revolution RPG" as its first 20th anniversary commemorative title. The creative team behind NIS' Disgaea role-playing game series planned and developed the project. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel illustrator Noizi Ito served as the game's character designer, and Yousei Teikoku (The Future Diary, Katanagatari theme songs) provided soundtrack and theme song.

The game shipped in Japan on January 24 after a one-month delay due to various circumstances. NIS CEO Sohei Niikawa already revealed that his company was planning a television anime project, although the anime has not yet been green-lit.

NIS America will ship the game in North America on November 5 and in Europe on October 25.
