4th volume planned for December 28 release

Manga creator Cherry Arai posted on her Twitter account on Sunday that the limited-edition fourth volume of her manga Mikakunin de Shinkōkei will contain an animated music video. The limited edition will also feature a different cover design.

Mikakunin de Shinkōkei (literally, "Unconfirmed & In-Progress") is a four-panel comedy manga about Kobeni Yonomori, who on her 16th birthday suddenly has a young man with little presence named Hakuya Mitsumine and his little sister Mashiro appear in front of her. It turns out that Hakuya is her fiancé, and Mashiro is her future sister-in-law. The three (and Konbeni's big sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur.

The November issue of Ichijinsha Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine announced a television anime adaptation of the series. Arai (Kimi to Boku o Tsunagumono, Sansha Sanyō, Seinaru Megumi) began the manga in the magazine in 2009, and Ichijinsha published the third compiled book volume (pictured at right) in Japan last November.

Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club) is directing the series off of scripts by Fumihiko Shimo (Air, Clannad). Ai Kikuchi (Rainbow - Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin, Iron Man) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Dogakobo is animating the series. Junky is producing the theme song "Tomadoi Recipe" by the Mikakuningu! unit made up of voice actresses Haruka Terui, Eriko Matsui, and Yuri Yoshida.
