First copies of Arashi o Yobu Kasukabe Eiga Stars! to come with code to download 1993 SNES Shin-chan game

Game publisher Bandai Namco Kids announced the Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Kasukabe Eiga Stars! (Crayon Shin-chan: Kasukabe Movie Stars Who Bring a Storm!) Nintendo 3DS game on Thursday with a promotional video.

The video describes the story and details of the game. In the midst of the Kasukabe Town Film, Shin-chan decides to make his own film, with characters from twenty-one past Crayon Shin-chan films making appearances. As Shin-chan resolves the worries of characters around the town, he receives Director Points, which allows him to level up and proceed with filming his movie. The filming is done by the player, whose button-presses and stylus-touches change the outcome of the clip. The anime clips appearing in the game are actual cuts from the Crayon Shin-chan films.

The Nintendo 3DS game is scheduled to be released in Japan on April 10 for the price of 4,740 yen (about US$48). First copies of the game will come with a code that allows the player to download a digital copy of the Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Enji (Crayon Shin-chan: The Kindergartner Who Brings a Storm) 1993 Super Nintendo Entertainment System game.
