The June issue of Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Daisuke Moriyama will end his World Embryo manga in the following issue on May 30.
The story takes place in a world where daemons from another world are infecting humans. Fighters with jinki core weapons hunt down the infected humans ("kanshu"), and a boy named Riku is caught in the middle of the conflict when he gains the powers of both the kanshu and the jinki core. Moriyama (Chrono Crusade) launched the manga in Young King Ours in 2005, and the publisher shipped the 11th volume in Japan in May 2013.
Dark Horse Comics licensed the manga in 2008, but has not yet released any of the manga in North America. Udon Entertainment released Moriyama's Daisuke Moriyama Art Works: Chronicle artbook earlier this year that included art from World Embryo, and ADV Manga released the eight-volume Chrono Crusade manga in North America.
