Final game in "Dusk" trilogy of alchemy games to ship in Japan on July 17

Japanese video game developer Gust began streaming the promotional video that will be streamed in stores for its Atelier Shallie: Tasogare no Umi no Renkinjutsushi (Atelier Shallie: The Alchemist of the Dusk Sea) PlayStation 3 game on Wednesday.

In the video's scene previewing the game's battle system, Shallie says, "I won't lose," while Shallotte says, "It's time for you to experience the power of alchemy!"

The game serves as the final chapter in the "Dusk" trilogy, and takes place in a world where the waterbeds are drying up and plant life is dying. Two young alchemists meet in an oasis. Players will be able to play as one of two heroines: Shallie (voiced by Kotori Koiwai) or Shallotte (Sumire Uesaka).

The game is slated to ship for PlayStation 3 in Japan on July 17 after being delayed from June 26. The regular edition will retail for 6,800 yen (US$66), the downloadable version for 6,000 yen (US$58), and a premium box edition with four music CDs and one drama CD for 9,800 yen (US$95).
